He has worked on projects ranging from cancer prognosis and sentiment analysis in social media, to clinical meta-analyses, anticoagulant evaluation, and the development of data architectures for epidemiological and clinical studies. He has taught medical statistics, predictive analytics, and survival methods for years, continuing to support students and researchers with a methodological patience that leaves no one behind.
Alongside statistical models, there is a Giuseppe who is equally skilled at keeping the group’s spirits high: memes selected with variable care and a sense of humor that always arrives at just the right moment.
And, thanks to his height, he has quite a hard time hiding when someone goes looking for “the statistician.”
